Leading brand management groups have recently hosted elite conferences and award ceremonies to celebrate organizations and individuals that are striving to support and increase Nigerian business ventures.

Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria

The Institute of Brand Management (IBMN) recently celebrated the contributions of dignitaries and companies to the Nigerian economy. The ceremony was the highlight of the IBMN’s Nigeria Brands & Directors Summit in Ijeka, Lagos in August 2018. The organization hosted the illustrious event as an integral part of its drive to promote native Nigerian brands nationally and globally.

Topfeeds won the IBMN’s The Most Preferred Animal Feeds Award. This brand is product of Premier Feedmills Company, Ltd., Nigeria’s leading animal feed supplier. Created close to 60 years ago, Topfeeds is Premier’s most popular feed brand. The IBMN honored Premier for its consistently excellent service and products for Nigerian farmers. The company was delighted to receive this award, its first high-level recognition for its contributions to Nigeria.

Marketing Edge

Hosted by widely read magazine Marketing Edge, the Brands and Advertising Excellence Awards program was also held in Ikeja, Lagos in July 2018. This award has become the standard for acknowledging and honoring trailblazers in Nigeria’s marketing sector. The magazine’s national Marketing Edge Stakeholders Summit and awards program were formed to increase advertising and marketing education throughout Nigeria.

SPAR Nigeria, a supermarket chain with over 10 outlets nationwide, won the 2018 Outstanding Retail Brand of the Year award. The franchise was recognized for its excellence in service and vital contribution to the Nigerian retail economy. Lagos Chamber of Commerce

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce’s (LCCI) annual awards honor brands and organizations that demonstrate best business practices, innovation, and positive societal impact. The LCCI’s 2018 Brand of the Year is Chivita Active, a fast-growing fruit juice brand.
